It doesn't seem to matter how many resolutions I make, this blog always seems to remain neglected. It's not that I don't have lots I want to post - tips on what to wear, why it's important to have family portraits done, cool ways to display your images in your home, not to mention all the client sessions I haven't blogged - but with everything there is to do, blogging always moves to the bottom of the list.

So I've decided to let you guys make me accountable. From now until the end of June, if I don't post at least two times per week (a week is Sunday to Saturday), the first person to email and call me on it gets a free session.  Hopefully that will move blogging closer to the top of my list!

And because no post is complete without a photograph, here is Angelo trying to show us how old he is. For the longest time he hasn't been able to hold his other fingers down in order to make a two. Now he can but it takes a lot of concentration. :)

I am definitely behind in posting client sessions, but I know these guys are waiting to see some sneak peeks of their session.

And they were troopers! Seriously, it was really, really cold the day of their session but we went ahead anyway since you have to take advantage of non-rainy days here in Vancouver.

I don't shoot weddings but I love doing "love shoots". And we have some amazing locations around Vancouver that are just perfect for couples shots.

After we finished up with the engagement pictures, we moved on to some family shots.

This guy gathered a very cool collection of rocks while we were busy with the engagement part of our shoot. And he was such an amazing rock skipper!

Enjoy your sneak peek!

I love the photo of them all skipping rocks!! I love them all actually, but that one is super cool! I love that you caught them all at the perfect time. And they look so happy in the engagement photos!

Thanks so much! These are perfect and better than I could have ever imagined. I love how you caught us all doing something we do everytime we go to the beach. Skipping rocks is our things.

When I was going through client sessions looking for images for the new site and blog, it struck me that my favourite images are never the "fireplace" ones. You know the fireplace ones - the ones most people would think of hanging over their fireplace or giving to grandma.

Little Miss C was so much fun to photograph - I don't think she stopped running for more than 10 seconds at any one time the entire session. Amidst all the fun ones of her running, we got some great family shots like this one.

But this one of her running as fast as she can around her parents is the one that really shows her true energy level.

And there's this one of them all together....                                                      and then there's my favourite.

With custom contemporary portrait photography not only is your family captured at it's best, you also get the real, fun, authentic moments. The photgraphs you look at, smile and think "that's my family".

So cute! What a tired mom she must be at the end of the day! I love the photo of her running around her parents. Her hair bouncing is awesome! It totally captures the energy she has.
